How do I get to Hollybank Treetops Adventure?
Follow the road-signs to Lilydale, and you will find us signposted just off the Lilydale Road, 15 minutes north-east of Launceston.
How long d oes it take to complete the Treetops Adventure?
Duration of the Adventure is approximately 3 hours and you must check in 15 minutes before your confirmed time.
We cannot accommodate late arrivals.
When am I able to visit and partake in the Treetops Adventure?
The Adventure is open 7 days a week, except Christmas day.
Summer : 09h00 - 18h00 (9.00 am - 6.00 pm). Last tour leaves at 3.00pm.
Winter : 10h00 - 17h00 (10.00 am - 5.00 pm). Last tour leaves at 2.00 pm.

Do I need to arrive before my booking time?
We require you to check into reception 15 minutes before your confirmed booking time.
What do I get for my money?
Full instruction and safety briefing on the relevant equipment you will be using on the Adventure.
A 3 hour forest experience, including walks to the entry and exit points, flights between the seven cloud stations and all brought together with an informative and detailed interpretation on the forest, the creatures that inhabit it and the plants that grow and make up this unique environment.
On completion you will be given a commemorative certificate. TOP
How can I pay?
We accept all major Credit Cards on our website, and our Visitor Centre accepts all major Credit Cards, Eftpos and Australian currency.
Refund policy?
Your booking is a non-refundable purchase and is for a specific time and date. Changes to the date and / or time of your reservation will only be considered if received seven days before the confirmed tour.
You will only be accommodated at an available time and date.
Do I need to bring special gear / clothing / shoes?
You are required to wear enclosed and comfortable sport or hiking shoes.
During the cooler and winter months you must wear warm clothing and bring a weather-proof jacket with you. TOP
Where can I leave my valuables or belongings, whilst I am on the adventure?
Hollybank Treetops Adventure will provide you with a secure locker in which to leave your valuables.
Weather concerns?
Hollybank Treetops Adventures operates in all weather conditions, and tours will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions such as lighting storms and high winds. Hollybank Treetops Adventures will postpone tours at our own discretion and will offer an alternative departure date at a time of your choice.
Can I wear my jewellery?
Safety requirements dictate that all jewellery that can be removed must be removed. Hollybank Tree Tops Adventure does not carry any liability for jewellery lost on the tour. TOP
Can I wear my spectacles or sunglasses on the adventure?
Yes you can. We will supply you with a suitable lanyard to secure your spectacles or sunglasses.
Can I bring my camera on the adventure?
No. Safety requirements dictate that we do not allow the carrying of any personal items that can be dropped or lost during the tour. Your guide is equipped with a high quality digital camera and will capture some highlights of your trip, and these will be available for viewing and purchase at the visitor centre.
Are children accepted?
Yes. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by
an adult at all times. Proof of age, such as a passport, or
school identification card will be requested for all children
when checking in for the tour. There must be one parent, or
adult guardian, per two children participating. TOP
Are seniors able to participate?
Yes, we welcome all individuals who can sustain moderate physical activity for the duration of the tour which is approximately 3 hours. We recommend that individuals are reasonably fit and have full coordination, as there is a walk to the entry point and back.
What about fear of heights?
Participants may use this adventure to overcome their fear of heights, and if there is a situation that individuals are unable to continue, we have a system to allow people to abort the tour and return to the visitor centre.
Can people with a disability participate?
Yes, please call the visitor centre to describe your disability, so we can ascertain if we are able to accommodate you.
You should however have full body control and hand-eye-foot control, be reasonable fit, and be able to walk in and out of the forest. TOP
Can people with a medical condition participate?
Yes, if you have been cleared to participate in moderate physical activity for the approximately 3 hours' duration of the adventure.
Individuals who suffer from any:
- heart condition;
- visual impairment (except those wearing prescription eyewear);
- hearing impairment;
- vertigo, fear of heights, dizziness;
- pregnancy;
- respiratory;
- missing limbs; should take advice from their medical professional.
We reserve the right to decline your participation in the tour, if we believe you would be unable to carry out all the required drills to enjoy a safe and exhilarating tour.
If required you will be able to bring medication on the tour with you.
Am I required to sign a waiver or release?
Yes, all participants must sign the release before commencement of the tour.
