Treetops Adventure forms a part of the Experience Co. group (ASX: EXP) which is an adventure tourism company founded in 1998 with the vision of becoming the largest and most respected adventure tourism company in the world. We offer the best of the best in adventure experiences with numerous locations throughout Australia and New Zealand. Treetops Adventure joined the family in December 2021 and is scaling new heights, providing challenges for adventure seeks at all levels. Currently we have 15 locations around Australia featuring exciting and challenging obstacle courses high up in the tree canopy, that will have all the family swinging, leaping, climbing, and flying through the forest. We are currently in preparation for a strong tourist trade in 2022 and are expanding our team and providing career progression opportunities across the company.

About you 

You love being outdoors and surrounding yourself in nature. You have fantastic customer service skills and love working with people. You are a physically fit person who has a willingness to learn. You are looking for a position outside the norm and wanting to have fun at work.

You have a current First Aid certificate and CPR as well as a Working with Children Check.

FULL TIME PARK MANAGER

The Park Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Customer Service including: Interact with patrons, in a courteous, polite and informative manner, Advising patrons of activity risks, company procedures and registration requirements, Managing disputes and special requests,
  • Demonstrates operation and explains purpose and safe use of all equipment, by means of a Treetops Adventure Safety Induction. This typically includes items such as Carabiners, lanyards, pulley, ropes and harnesses and the instruction to participants of their correct use.
  • Maintain overall park safety including: Daily inspection of the courses, Daily inspection of the PPE, Accurate record keeping of safety processes, Monitoring spectators, children and participants to ensure orderly and safe conduct, Ensuring controls and safety requirements are met on a daily basis, Intervene in case of any emergency (accident, evacuation…) and update procedures when necessary upon operations manager approval, Rescues Participants when necessary.
  • Park Administration and cash handling, including: Opening and closing the cash register system, Managing the booking system, Maintaining attendance records.
  • Managing human resources; including Interview, recruit, train and update Staff requirements in terms of training and qualifications, Maintaining accurate record of Staff Hours, Rostering
  • Maintaining Park maintenance – replacing or repairing damaged course components, basic grounds keeping, Small maintenance duties such as tightening bolts, replace inner cables in PPE systems, General cleaning.
  • Intervene in case of any emergency (accident, evacuation)

  • Proven High Ropes and/or Outdoor Adventure experience
  • Over 18+ Years
  • Physically Fit
  • WWCC
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be flexible with working hours, available to work weekends.

As this is seasonal work, availability over the school holidays, Christmas/summer holiday period is a must.

*For Hollybank please note that there are weight & height restrictions due to activity type. Min 45kg – Max 117kg, and a minimum height of 158 cm.
